A total of 66 municipalities or local authorities, their groupings and local public entities aggregating municipalities / local authorities from across Europe were offered support from the 5th call of the European City Facility.

The call offered €60,000 in lump-sum payments and hands-on support for local actors to develop investment concepts on clean energy and energy efficiency and ran from 28 April to 30 June 2023.
